Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of driver candidates. Represent zTrip at job fairs, hiring events, career expos, and community functions. Conduct applicant screenings and interviews. Guide candidates through every stage of the hiring process. Partner with management to identify staffing needs and recruitment priorities. Develop creative recruiting campaigns to attract qualified drivers. Promote zTrip as an employer of choice within the local market. Onboarding & New Hire Success Coordinate and facilitate onboarding activities for new drivers. Assist candidates with employment paperwork, licensing requirements, and onboarding documentation. Ensure new hires receive the tools, resources, training, and support necessary to succeed. Serve as a primary point of contact throughout the onboarding process. Educate new drivers on company expectations, policies, procedures, and performance standards. Help create a smooth transition from candidate to active driver. Driver Engagement & Retention Build positive relationships with drivers throughout their employment journey. Conduct regular follow-up conversations with new and existing drivers. Identify challenges impacting driver satisfaction and success. Partner with Operations to improve driver engagement and retention efforts. Support coaching initiatives focused on professionalism, customer service, and performance improvement. Assist with recognition programs and engagement activities that encourage long-term retention. Act as an advocate for drivers by connecting them with available resources and support. Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate recruiting, onboarding, and retention records. Track hiring activity, candidate flow, and recruitment performance metrics. Monitor retention trends and provide recommendations for improvement. Generate reports and updates for leadership teams. Assist with process improvements designed to enhance recruiting efficiency and driver experience. Qualifications of a Recruiter: Preferred Experience Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Staffing, Employee Relations, Operations, Customer Service, Sales, or Workforce Development experience. Experience conducting interviews and managing candidate pipelines. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems. Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
