Project Manager

Seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join a growing team in Ely, Iowa. You’ll oversee multiple commercial roofing projects from estimating and planning through completion, ensuring profitability, quality, safety, and exceptional customer satisfaction. Growing company with long-term advancement opportunities Direct exposure to company leadership Opportunity to manage multi-million-dollar commercial projects Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Meet with commercial clients, property managers, and building owners Conduct roof inspections and site evaluations Take measurements and assess project requirements Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and bid submissions Follow up on bids to help secure new business Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment Collaborate closely with superintendents and field teams Monitor project budgets and profitability Manage change orders and project costs Ensure quality control and safety compliance Keep customers informed throughout the project lifecycle Resolve project issues quickly and professionally Maintain project documentation and reporting Conduct final walkthroughs and ensure customer satisfaction Required Experience: 4+ years of commercial roofing project management experience Commercial roofing estimating experience Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong commercial roofing knowledge Ability to read blueprints and specifications Accurate measurement and takeoff skills Job cost analysis and forecasting Compensation & Earning Potential: $70,000 - $110,000 annually (dependent on experience) Completed Project Bonus Program Earnprofits on completed projects Annual reviews and payouts Holiday & Safety Bonuses Company-Provided Tools Newer-model company vehicle All fuel and maintenance covered Company-paid cell phone Company credit card Blue Cross Blue Shield medical coverage Vision and Dental insurance 401(k)/IRA program Generous PTO Primarily office-based in Ely, IA Typical office hours are approximately 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM Flexible, results-oriented culture Approximately 50 hours per week during peak construction season Reduced workload during winter months The team values hard work, collaboration, integrity, and a "get the job done" mindset.
