Double Reach Forklift Operators 1st ShiftBuena Park, CaliforniaWarehouse & Logistics Temp to Hire On-Site Posted 2 weeks, 5 days ago $19.00/hour W2Job Descriptionb Title: Double Reach Forklift Operator 1 st Shift Location: Buena Park, Ca Schedule: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Monday – Friday Pay: $19.00 Job Description The Double Reach Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a double reach forklift to move, store, retrieve, and stage products within a warehouse environment. This position requires working in narrow aisles and high-bay racking while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and compliance with all safety standards. The ideal candidate has experience operating stand-up double reach equipment and is committed to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive workplace. Essential Job DutiesOperate a stand-up double reach forklift safely and efficiently.Retrieve, transport, and store pallets in high-bay racking systems.Perform put-away, replenishment, and order picking functions.Load and unload trailers when required.Accurately scan inventory using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).Verify product quantities, locations, and labels before moving inventory.Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.Maintain accurate inventory through proper product handling and scanning procedures.Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.Keep warehouse aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards.Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as assigned.Work collaboratively with supervisors and warehouse team members to meet daily productivity goals.Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum 1 year of recent experience operating a double reach forklift (required).Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating a sit down forklift (required)Previous warehouse, distribution center, or logistics experience.Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.Ability to safely operate equipment in narrow aisles and at elevated heights.Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods.Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to work at elevated heights while operating warehouse equipment.Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and reach throughout the shift.Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.Work EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse or distribution center.Exposure to moving forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and other warehouse equipment.May require overtime, weekends, or flexible scheduling based on business needs.Required SkillsSafe operation of stand-up double reach forkliftsInventory control and product handlingRF scanner proficiencyWarehouse Management Systems (WMS)High attention to detailStrong communication and teamworkTime management and productivityCommitment to workplace safety and quality standardsPreferred CertificationsOSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to become certified upon hire)Experience with Crown, Raymond, Toyota, or Crown double reach forklifts is a plus.Success in this role is measured by safe equipment operation, inventory accuracy, productivity, attendance, and the ability to consistently meet daily warehouse performance goals.#zr About Midway Staffing Midway Staffing is a dynamic and rapidly growing enterprise dedicated to connecting top talent with leading organizations.
