Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Family Medicine Physician with Surgical OB, you will join Dignity Health Medical Group - North State, a premier 60+ provider multi-specialty group in Northern California. You will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive family medicine and obstetric care, including performing C-sections, in the welcoming rural community of Red Bluff, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a full-scope practice with excellent mentorship and strong partnerships with both OB-GYN and Family Medicine providers.

You will provide expert clinical care within a supportive environment, practicing alongside established Group OB-GYNs and FP physicians in a Rural Health Clinic attached to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. With one hospital and two clinics both on the hospital complex, you'll experience a great work-life balance while serving a community with a HPSA primary care score of 15. Your affiliation with Dignity Health ensures connection to the highest standards of healthcare, and being bilingual in Spanish is a plus, though not required.

To be successful in this role, you will be a board-certified/eligible Family Medicine Physician with a passion for comprehensive rural care, strong surgical obstetrics skills (including C-sections), and a commitment to integrating into a vibrant and supportive community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide full-scope family medicine care to patients of all ages.

• Deliver comprehensive obstetrical care, including performing C-sections.

• Collaborate effectively with OB-GYN and Family Medicine colleagues.

• Engage actively with the community and embrace the rural practice environment.

We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:

• Salary Guarantee: $275,000 - $300,000/year, plus uncapped productivity incentive and call pay.

• Signing Incentive of either: up to $125,000 Sign-On Bonus OR up to $85,000 Sign-On Bonus AND up to $100,000 Student Loan Repayment.

• Up to $20,000 Relocation Incentive.

• Up to $15,000/year Quality Incentive.

• 8 weeks of time off per year, plus CME reimbursement, paid malpractice, and licensure renewal fees.

• Robust benefits package including group-paid medical and dental insurance options (with HSA contribution), 401k matching program, and additional retirement contributions.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Active or eligible license in the state of California

• Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)

• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

• Completion of a Surgical OB Fellowship
