Business Development Analyst

An entrepreneurial private equity firm is seeking a Business Development Analyst to help drive acquisition sourcing efforts for a high-growth portfolio company. This is a relationship-focused role centered on identifying and engaging business owners, generating new acquisition opportunities, and supporting a highly active M&A strategy. The ideal candidate enjoys outbound business development, building relationships, and operating in a performance-driven environment. What You'll Do Identify and research prospective acquisition targets Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn Build relationships with business owners and industry professionals Qualify opportunities and gather key business information Maintain CRM records and manage an active pipeline Partner closely with leadership and M&A professionals on growth initiatives What We're Looking For 0-5 years of experience in sales, business development, sourcing, or a related field Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable making outbound calls and managing high activity levels Experience using CRM and prospecting toolsHighly motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial mindset Bachelor's degree preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
