Nursing Assistant – Training Program & Certification
Full-Time, Paid Training Program with pathway to Permanent Employment
Location: The Dalles Oregon Veterans Home

Are you ready to begin a meaningful career in healthcare and get paid while you learn? The Oregon Veterans Home in The Dalles is offering a unique opportunity to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) through a paid training program, with all tuition and certification costs covered . Join our award-winning team and help care for those who have served our country.

PAYMENT INCLUDES: Start employment on the day you begin classes and be paid for all hours while attending! $15.00/hour during classroom portion, a pay increase after graduation, and $22.86/hour after state certification with annual, union bargain increases guaranteed. Employment will be considered temporary (without benefits) until course completion.

$4,000 Sign-On Bonus (after OSBN Certification)

Full-Time Employment Guaranteed After Graduation

Requirements ️

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Commitment to complete training and gain Oregon CNA certification
Willingness to work for OVH one year after certification
Must be able to work evening shift (2-10pm) following graduation until other shifts become available
Compassionate attitude and strong work ethic
