Manager, Financial Reporting

Our client is a bank. They seek a Manager of Financial Reporting to join their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the preparation and filing of SEC reporting documents, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and quarterly earnings releasesPrepare quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP requirementsDevelop and maintain reporting schedules, financial statement tie-outs, and documentation supporting public disclosuresDraft management discussion and analysis (MD&A) by analyzing financial trends, business drivers, and reporting period resultsMonitor SEC regulations, accounting standards, and new guidance, including ASC 326, to ensure compliance with reporting requirementsResearch accounting pronouncements and assess disclosure impacts for new transactions and business initiativesCollaborate with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Investor Relations, auditors, and senior leadership to ensure accurate and timely reportingSupport external audit and quarterly review processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requestsMaintain SOX controls over financial reporting processes and support compliance with internal control requirementsEnhance reporting processes and improve financial reporting workflows, disclosures, and investor-related materialsRequirements4+ years of experiencePublic company experienceSEC experience requiredBanking industry experience is a plusWorkiva and NetSuite experience are a plusTagged as: In-OfficeDate Posted:Posted on August 6, 2026Location:New York, NY, USAJob Title:Manager, Financial ReportingSalary:$140,000 - $170,000
