A Visionary Practice Rooted in Reproductive Justice and Advocacy - OB/GYN Physician Opportunity in Santa Cruz, CA

Seeking a BE/BC Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician (OBGYN) to move beyond the traditional clinical experience and help establish a practice rooted in advocacy, clinical excellence, and deep community partnership to join us in Santa Cruz, CA. This is a foundational opportunity to join a rapidly growing team where your voice matters and defines our culture. Here, you will practice in a co-managed model alongside highly experienced providers. You will build the practice and culture you’ve always wanted within a system that stands firmly for patients' rights and health. Compensation and Benefits Include:

• 18 month Guaranteed Salary: $400,000 then transition to productivity model.
• Sign-On bonus up to $100k, Relocation & Resident Incentives for full time physicians
• Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer
• Comprehensive health benefits including 401(k) with match
• - 70-800 births annually, goal is to grow
  - Nonprofit community hospital, Level III NICU 28+ weeks
  - CNMS do own deliveries
  - 3-4 clinic days per week + post-call day. Seeing about 15-20 patients per day after ramp up period.
  - 1-2 call shifts per week (4-6 per month, CALL FROM HOME)
  - Minimum of 48 shifts of restricted in-house call coverage annually
  - SHARED CALL: 1:6-7 with internal docs
  - There’s always a hospitalist + OBGYN
  - 7 CNMs in clinic, 1 Full-scope physician, 1 GYN/surg physician, hospitalist

• Collaboration : Work alongside a team of well-respected OB/GYN Physicians and Certified Nurse Midwives
• Clinical Resources: Access to a dedicated Medical Assistant, Ultrasonographer, and RN in the clinic.
• Hospital Facilities:
  • Modern, well-equipped birthing center that delivers approximately 1,200-1,500 babies annually
  • Access to Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • 24/7 anesthesia coverage with a team of experienced anesthesiologists
  • Dedicated OB ED

• MD or DO degree, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA certification
• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
