Metallus Internship Includes Competitive salary ($19.25-$33.50 per hour) Based upon major, degree type, and class status Housing options (if eligible) Free access to our 24/7 Wellness Center Real-world experience that provides a competitive edge upon graduation Casual work environment Career planning and development workshops Organized social activities and community service events Networking with leadership, hiring managers, and early career colleagues Internship Assignment: Full Time – Summer 2027 Start date: 05/17/2027 Assist with safety audits, inspections, and field observations Support incident, near-miss, and hazard reporting reviews Help maintain safety documentation, training records, and data tracking Participate in safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and meetings Assist with development of safety communications and materials Emergency Action Plan improvements/reviews/development Job Safety Analysis review and validation Plant Safety Lead support Support special safety projects as assigned Internship Qualifications Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university Preferred majors: Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, or related Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) The company prohibits harassment or discrimination against any employee on the basis of any status protected by law, including, but not limited to, race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, genetic information, gender, sex or veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
