LPN Wing Supervisor

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to supervise nursing assistants and provide quality care to residents. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with residents daily and is committed to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document resident responses.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report significant changes to the RN Supervisor.
• Update care plans, complete monthly summaries, and maintain accurate medical records using PCC.
• Supervise and support CNAs to ensure quality resident care.
• Assist physicians with examinations, rounds, and treatments.
• Collect laboratory specimens and coordinate transfers when needed.
• Monitor vital signs, weights, medication records, and incident reports.
• Assist with staff orientation, evaluations, scheduling, and team coordination.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide direct resident care and assist nursing staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Current Pennsylvania LPN license or temporary work permit.
• Must hold a current PA license or have applied for one by the interview.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
• Nursing home experience is a plus.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication, observation, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, resident care, infection control, and safety procedures.
• Compassion and dedication to caring for elderly residents.

Additional Information:

• Any color of scrubs is permitted; closed-toe shoes are required.
• Must be physically able to perform assigned nursing duties.
• COVID-19 vaccination is preferred but not required.

• Initial phone screening.
• Second-round video interview with leadership and HR.
