Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a permanent role with an area home health client in San Leandro, CA. The clinician will provide mobile radiography services to nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and other care sites. The role requires travel between facilities, independent patient interaction, and technical proficiency with portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license as required by California law. Limited licenses not accepted.
• Maintain required state licenses and/or ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good current standing at all times.
• BLS certification.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 is required, unless a documented exemption is approved.
• Experience performing portable/mobile X-ray exams using digital (DR) or computed (CR) equipment.
• Experience performing and transmitting EKGs is preferred or required if applicable to assignments.
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull mobile radiography equipment and related items consistent with physical demands (up to and exceeding 50 lbs intermittently).
• Weekend availability and flexibility to work any shift. Shifts available: all shifts.
• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred in radiography or mobile imaging environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide mobile X-ray services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and miscellaneous sites.
• Operate portable DR or CR radiography equipment to acquire clinically diagnostic, technically competent images.
• Unload and transport portable X-ray equipment into facilities and patients' residences to perform ordered exams.
• Transmit studies and EKGs to radiologists or cardiologists for interpretation per protocol.
• Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily in accordance with company protocol.
• Maintain vehicle and imaging equipment in safe, operational condition.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, management, facility staff, patients, and caregivers.
