Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Summary:
Provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other medical sites. Ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging and testing to support patient care and treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate portable digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography equipment to perform X-ray exams.
• Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at designated facilities to capture diagnostically accurate images.
• Process and transmit X-ray images to radiologists for interpretation promptly.
• Conduct EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists for review.
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all X-ray and EKG equipment and related vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, peers, and clients to coordinate services and ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid ARRT certification and applicable State radiologic technologist licensure.
• Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Demonstrate experience in operating portable digital and computed radiography equipment.
• Be capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including handling up to 50 lbs of equipment repeatedly.
• Maintain compliance with health requirements, vaccination policies, and operational protocols.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a mobile environment.
