Job Description Job Description Education: Must have High School diploma or GED Work Experience: Familiar with and experienced with use of an online scheduling system and Electronic Health Record Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent phone etiquette Familiar with both spelling and definitions of medical terminology Daily Job Duties: Scheduling patients by phone and/or in person Greet patients, check in and out through the system acquiring any needed paper work in order to process patients through the office efficiently Verify insurance coverages, note any specifics in the patient accounts, process and post copayments, coinsurances, & deductibles Communicate with all coworkers, providers, guests and patients in an effective and efficient manner Be able to multitask and maintain accurate input of all patient related data in a fast-paced environment Preferred skills or experience: Bilingual, while not required is preferred Familiar with all aspects of Medical Office equipment such as document & card scanners, fax/printer/copier Knowledge of and ability to understand insurance benefits Team player, able to work towards a common goal or solution to an issue Commitment to making our patients feel comfortable during their visit with us Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends Spanish (Preferred) Company Description Pediatric Medical Office located in McKinney TX Company Description Pediatric Medical Office located in McKinney TX
