Kambiar Healthcare is hiring immediately for a Medical Receptionist to support a busy surgical office in Greenville, SC.

This is a full-time, approximately 6-week temporary assignment with an anticipated start date of August 31, 2026 . Interested in a fast application process. Please give us a call.

We are seeking someone who is dependable, professional, organized, comfortable interacting with patients, and able to commit to the entire temporary assignment .

Schedule

Monday-Friday
5:15 AM-1:15 PM
40 hours per week
Greenville, SC
Temporary assignment – approximately 6 weeks

Weekly Pay

Candidates must be able to reliably report to work by 5:15 AM and have no requested time off.

What You'll Do

As the Medical Receptionist, you will serve as one of the first points of contact for patients arriving for surgical procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and registering surgical patients
• Answering and directing telephone calls
• Obtaining and verifying patient information
• Reviewing registration information and required documentation
• Collecting patient payments and co-pays
• Scanning patient identification, insurance cards, and other documents
• Assisting with scheduling and front-desk administrative responsibilities
• Maintaining patient confidentiality
• Communicating professionally with patients, families, physicians, vendors, and staff
• Supporting the daily operation of the reception area
• Performing other related clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous medical receptionist, patient registration, medical office, or healthcare front-desk experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional telephone etiquette
• Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Word and Outlook
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Experience with HST or surgical-office workflows is a plus but is not required. Training will be provided.
