Our client is seeking a proactive, Temporary Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the face and voice of the office for the next few months. This short-term role requires a highly task-oriented individual capable of managing front-desk traffic, routing communications, and keeping candidate and customer workflows organized. If you thrive on independent problem-solving and handling a dynamic mix of phone calls, walk-ins, and incoming leads, we want to hear from you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-40 hours/week)

Duration: Temporary (approx. 2-3 months)

Location: On-site in Mankato, MN

Responsibilities:

• Manage Communications: Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct incoming emails and general inquiries to the appropriate team members.
• Front Desk Operations: Warmly greet and assist walk-in visitors, applicants, and clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
• Lead & Application Tracking: Intake, organize, and manage incoming applications and sales/business leads, routing them quickly to the right department.
• Problem Solving: Independently resolve day-to-day office administrative issues as they arise without requiring constant supervision.
• General Office Support: Maintain an organized reception area and assist with light administrative duties, filing, and task lists.

Skills:

• 1+ years of experience in front desk, administrative, or customer-facing roles.

Qualifications:

• Self-Starter Mindset: Proactive approach to work with the ability to take initiative and stay productive during quiet periods.
• Task-Oriented Focus: Strong execution skills to prioritize, manage, and complete daily checklists efficiently.
• Communication: Clear, articulate, and professional phone etiquette and written email communication.
