Sr. FPGA Engineer, Certification

Salary: $92,000 - 132,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or an equivalent field.
• We are looking for 10+ years of full-cycle aviation electronics hardware development experience.
• We need hands-on experience with safety-critical FPGA certification in a DO-254 Level A/B environment.
• We require professional experience designing and/or verifying FPGA digital logic using industry-standard design, simulation, and synthesis tools.
• An advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a similar discipline is preferred.
• Experience with RADAR or RF transceivers is preferred.
• A demonstrated track record of product ownership, including development and field support, is preferred.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile, iterative development environment is preferred.
• A pragmatic, results-driven working style is preferred.

• We own the full FPGA certification lifecycle from planning through execution.
• We author DO-254 plans and standards and establish compliant peer review and test processes.
• We qualify the relevant design and verification tools used in the development flow.
• We create verification strategies that improve efficiency and product readiness.
• We guide verification efforts through execution and coordinate certification work with the FAA and relevant DERs.
• We contribute to the delivery of safe and dependable airborne electronic hardware.
• We operate within a vertically integrated technology stack that reaches up to the aircraft level and influences aircraft capability and requirements.
