FPGA Design Engineer (Hybrid Sunnyvale, CA, Denver, CO, Houston, TX)

We are looking for an FPGA Design Engineer for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will design, develop, and verify FPGA/ASIC solutions by creating RTL code, performing simulation and debugging, and supporting implementation on Xilinx/AMD and Microchip platforms for advanced aerospace and space applications.

This is a 9-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is a hybrid role in Sunnyvale, CA, Denver, CO, Houston, TX

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 9+ years of experience as an FPGA Design engineer
• Experience synthesizing and building designs based on Microchip and Xilinx/AMD FPGA targets:

o UltraScale Plus

o RT Polarfire

o Versal

o RTG4

• Experience with Libero, Vivado, and Synopsys Tools (Simulation, Lint/CDC, and Synthesis)
• Design experience using the following languages: Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL
• Quick learner, someone who can get up to speed quickly with current designs
• Ability to quickly understand requirements documentation
• Experience with debugging designs both in the lab and in simulation environment
• Willingness to work with other teams to debug designs
• Experience with Space Wire
• Willingness to work on Circuitware document for milestone review prep (Requirements documentation, analysis, presentation materials)
• Experience using Python

Compensation: $100.00/hr - $110.00/hr
