Oscar Wilde – New York City

Oscar Wilde is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Director of Event Sales to lead and grow our private-events business.

This is a senior, hands-on sales position for someone who can actively generate new business—not simply respond to incoming inquiries.

The ideal candidate will have:

● Proven success selling high-volume restaurant and hospitality events

● An established NYC network of corporate, agency, fashion, media and social clients

● Strong experience with Tripleseat or similar event-management platforms

● Excellent negotiation, communication and closing skills

● Experience developing sales strategies, partnerships and repeat business

● The ability to manage the full sales process—from prospecting and proposals through event execution and follow-up

Responsibilities include:

● Generate new corporate and social-event business

● Manage and convert incoming leads

● Conduct site tours and client presentations

● Create proposals, contracts and event packages

● Meet monthly and annual revenue targets

● Maintain strong client relationships and build repeat business

● Work closely with restaurant operations to ensure successful event execution

Compensation: $80,000.00 Starting base salary plus sales based commission.
