Accounting Coordinator
The Accounting Coordinator manages daily financial operations including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger, while preparing reports, reconciling accounts and processing transactions.
- Processing invoices, coding expenses, managing vendor/client accounts, resolving discrepancies, and handling cash receipts.
- Coordinating payroll processing (timesheets, wages, deductions) through outside provider and serving as a staff contact for payroll inquiries. Manage HR files.
- Making journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Filing, data entry, organizing financial information, and other clerical duties.
- Strong AP and AR experience
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Attention to detail and high ethical standards.
- Proficiency with accounting software and computer systems.
- Good communication skills for liaising with staff and external parties.
