USA Express is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Legal Filing Specialist to join our Filing Department. The ideal candidate will have some prior experience with legal filings, court documents, or a legal support environment and be interested in expanding their knowledge and experience.
This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple assignments and deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Prepare and submit legal documents for filing with the courts
Assist with electronic filing (E-Filing) and other filing assignments
Review documents and filing instructions for accuracy and completeness
Monitor filing submissions and follow up on accepted or rejected filings
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and internal staff regarding filing status
Maintain accurate records and update assignment information
Assist with over-the-counter and other filing-related assignments as needed
Meet daily deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS
Entry-level legal filing experience preferred
Familiarity with court filings or E-Filing is a plus
Strong computer and data-entry skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Willingness and ability to learn new filing procedures and systems
While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.
