Procurement Associate

The Procurement Associate supports the execution of day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring the efficient and compliant purchasing of goods and services. This role partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate sourcing events, process procurement transactions, and maintain accurate documentation. The position involves processing purchase orders and change orders, along with assisting in administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to understand project scope, specifications, and timelines.
• Provide guidance on procurement processes and ensure policy alignment.
• Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers, coordinating communications and bid timelines.
• Create, process, and validate purchase orders in the procurement system.
• Process change orders for scope, cost, or schedule adjustments, ensuring proper approvals.
• Maintain procurement documentation, including quotes, purchase orders, and contracts.
• Assist with contract administration, such as renewals, amendments, and tracking.
• Maintain professional working relationships with vendors.

Required Qualifications

Education: An undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required.
