We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Recruiter professional to support a small recruiting team serving mixed positions, with a focus on high-volume hourly roles. Reporting to the Office Manager, this role balances recruiting activities with occasional applicant reception and front-desk coverage during peak hours. The position offers opportunities for recruiter advancement.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Welcome and assist walk-in applicants during front-desk coverage and peak hours.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications.
• Coordinate hiring activities and collaborate with hiring managers to support staffing needs.
• Maintain applicant tracking system records and recruitment documentation.
• Support onboarding and employee orientation for new hires.
• Build positive relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Participate in campus recruitment events and other talent acquisition activities.
• Conduct background checks and verify employment history as part of the hiring process.

Required Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct effective interviews and evaluate candidate fit.
• Proficiency in social media management for recruitment purposes.
• Strong research skills for identifying potential candidates.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in recruiting.
• Experience with candidate sourcing, interviewing, or social media recruiting.
• Familiarity with technical recruiting practices and tools.
• Experience supporting high-volume hourly hiring.
• Experience with applicant reception or front-desk coverage.
