Registered Nurse (RN)The Level II Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering competent and compassionate care as guided by established clinical standards. This role includes participating in clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and utilizing research and evidence-based practices.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards.Take on an expanded role which may include responsibilities as a charge nurse, preceptor, and member of various committees.Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.Engage in professional development and contribute to evidence-based practice initiatives.RequirementsNew York State RN License.BLS certification from the American Heart Association.Two years of medical-surgical nursing experience.Telemetry experience is required.NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required.Behavioral CharacteristicsThe ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.Work ScheduleAvailability to work a combination of day, evening, and night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
