divh2Equipment Operator II/h2pAn Equipment Operator II is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of moderately complex automated assembly machines. This individual will ensure the continued operation of assembly machines through interpretation of and appropriate response to machine faults and through occasional alignment of stations and fixtures. This individual will perform moderately complex, repetitive tasks associated with machine operation and is expected to endure a moderate level of equipment attentiveness. The operator is also responsible for ensuring that medical devices are assembled with the highest quality possible./ph3Essential Duties Responsibilities:/h3ulliPerform start-up operation from power off/cold state; complete equipment and product paperwork, such as traceability and start-up checklist./liliConduct Level I required preventive maintenance tasks./liliParticipate in changeovers to include line clearance, system transactions, and associated documentation./liliPerform work order set ups in electronic batch record, data acquisition and inventory management systems./liliPull test samples for QC in process inspection, remove completed production from machine and place in finished goods totes./liliFill component Hoppers/Bowls as required to maintain production./liliPerform minor troubleshooting to diagnose machine performance issues; escalate to assigned Technician when required to ensure resolution. Perform line clearance activities and return equipment to proper operation./liliUpdate hourly production boards with production and efficiency numbers; note issues that prevented goal attainment (downtime, waste, quality, etc.)/liliSubmit machine repair tags to identify issues requiring support services./liliEnsure that product not meeting quality specifications is processed under non-conformance procedures/requirements./liliMaintain 5S standards in assigned work areas./liliModel company values and support strategic initiatives./liliPerform other related duties as assigned or required./liliThis position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site)./liliEngage others; promote and participate in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement./li/ulpKnowledge Skills/pulliGood Verbal and written communication skills. Read, write, understand and communicate in English./liliUnderstanding of and ability to use computers./liliSound judgment for use in machine troubleshooting and product disposition./liliGood interpersonal skills to facilitate communication at various levels and areas within the organization./liliMust accurately follow both verbal and written instructions./li/ulpMinimum Qualifications, Education Experience/pulliMust be at least 18 years of age./liliHigh School Diploma, or GED with 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred; or Technical Certificate with associated relevant experience./li/ulpWork Environment/pulliWork involves use of manufacturing equipment or close proximity to equipment. May be exposed to biohazards and/or chemicals./liliWork environment can range from clean room and proper gowning requirements to a production area that is open, potentially noisy, and with moving equipment./liliMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and push/pull up to 80 lbs./liliRecurring physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, crouching, climbing, bilateral motion involving hands, wrists, and upper body./liliConcentrated visual attention to perform checks on products and components./liliTypically requires travel less than 5% of the time./li/ul/div
