Opportunity Overview

We are looking for a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join us for a locum tenens position in Michigan, starting in October 2026.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Flexible block scheduling
  • 12-hour day shifts (8 AM - 8 PM)
  • Average of 36 patients per day
  • Support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • Utilization of a modern Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Possibility for ongoing future assignments
Practice Environment

This position is set in an Emergency Department within a Level III Trauma facility that is also accredited for chest pain management. The department benefits from strong nursing support, with an average of 3 admissions per shift.

Requirements
  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
  • Active Michigan medical license or IMLC
  • Ability to quickly obtain privileges
  • Comfortable supervising APPs
Available Dates

We have several available blocks in October and November:

  • October:
    • 10/2 - 10/3
    • 10/18 - 10/19
    • 10/23 - 10/25
  • November:
    • 11/5 - 11/8
    • 11/12 - 11/15
    • 11/21 - 11/24

There is a strong potential for ongoing opportunities beyond these dates.

Orientation and Coverage

Interested physicians should be available for at least one block of coverage and must participate in an onsite orientation prior to their first assignment.
