Opportunity: Board Certified - Advanced Practice (Physician Assistant) - Emergency Medicine Job Details: Provide emergency medicine coverage from 12pm - 10pm shifts Coverage dates needed: 9/5 - 9/7 and 9/12 - 9/13, with opportunity for additional future dates Onsite orientation required one day prior to first scheduled shift Only one provider will be accepted for this opportunity Average of 36 patients seen per day Average of 3 admissions per day Ability to treat patients of all ages is required Facility operates 7 days a week Both inpatient and outpatient care responsibilities Charting via Meditech EMR system Board certification required BLS certification required Active Michigan medical license required Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days, dependent on provider document submission speed Temporary privileges granted when needed Travel and lodging assistance available if needed; hospital can arrange accommodations Nearest airport is CMX, approximately 4 miles from the hospital All communication must be directed through LocumsMart Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
