Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Guarantee patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while providing clear and empathetic explanations
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain thorough electronic medical records
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related area
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
