Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to establish baseline understanding and present concerns of clients. This includes gathering client history, identifying symptoms, and evaluating emotional and psychological needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to address specific mental health conditions through various evidence-based modalities, including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open dialogue and build community support among clients. For instance, organizing therapy groups around anxiety management, coping strategies, or addiction recovery.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to create an integrated treatment approach aimed at delivering holistic patient care.
\n
• Contribute to crisis intervention efforts when required, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies, and coordinating with appropriate resources.
\n
• Deliver psychoeducational workshops to inform clients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for well-being.
\n
• Maintain and manage accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in professional development by attending training, workshops, and conferences to stay informed about the latest research and treatment methods in mental health.

• Participate actively in case consultations and clinical team meetings to discuss various cases and share insights to enhance overall service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families grappling with an array of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Our clients come from varied backgrounds, and your sensitivity and understanding will be key in establishing rapport and trust as they navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of a variety of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment techniques.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and developing effective treatment strategies for clients from diverse walks of life.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for building effective relationships with clients and collaborating with team members.

• Ability to maintain professionalism and ethical standards while navigating the complexities of client care.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and office software.

Compensation and Benefits\n
