Senior Corporate Counsel supporting Ginkgo's biotech and synthetic biology operations, focusing on commercial transactions, partnerships, and supply chain legal frameworks.
Responsibilities
- negotiate and draft agreements with customers, partners, suppliers, and collaborators
- provide legal advice on transactions and compliance
- manage multiple deals in a fast-paced environment
- collaborate with internal teams on program and business development matters
Requirements
- JD with 8+ years’ legal experience, ideally in high-pressure law firm or corporate settings
- strong negotiation and communication skills
- experience in life sciences, technology licensing, or biotech transactions
- ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects
Preferred
- experience supporting biotech, bioengineering, or synthetic biology companies
- familiarity with regulatory, GxP, or patent issues in the life sciences sector
