Client Overview:

Our client, an established Pennsylvania-based organization, is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k - $75k Annually

Position Overview:

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be reporting and working with multiple departments. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for full-cycle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and any duties the Executive Director requests be handled.

Responsibilities of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:

• Assist with accounts payable, including purchase orders and vendor account management.
• Assist with accounts receivable, including monthly invoices and handling vendor records.
• Take charge of numerous bank reconciliations for depository accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Assist with the annual budget and auditing process.
• Reconciliations: balance sheets and journal entries.
• Set up new vendor accounts.
• Prepare and review expense reports.

Required Experience/Skills for the Full Charge Bookkeeper:

• Bookkeeping experience.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software.
• 3 - 5 years minimum of Full Charge Bookkeeper experience.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).
• Team player with strong analytical skills.
• Thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to complete tasks promptly independent of supervisors.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Full Charge Bookkeeper:

• Advanced Excel experience is preferred.

Education Requirements:

• Associate's degree and/or relevant experience is required.
