Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Maine SLP license
• Valid Maine Educator Certification
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• SLP-CCC credential
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong background working with AAC systems or a willingness to learn more
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for K-12 students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Implement interventions, including AAC devices and strategies, to enhance student learning and participation
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and participate in team meetings as needed
