Business Development Associate As the Business Development Associate (BDA), you will drive Financial Advisor lead flow to LPL’s Advisor Recruiting team through cold-calling, digital outreach, and reporting. Primary prospecting efforts will be phone-based with supplemental email and social media outreach. Successful BDAs may advance to Internal Regional Director and Regional Director roles. Responsibilities Prospect financial advisors to generate interest in meeting with a LPL recruiter. Execute weekly prospecting campaigns using the news cycle, territory makeup, and recruiter direction. Qualify leads and present qualified prospects to the Internal Regional Director or Field Regional Director. Contact 100 prospects per day through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach. Use Salesforce.com to track KPIs and assess impact on territory funnel and results. Develop skills and knowledge for progression to Internal Regional Director. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field. Strong communication skills with leadership and recruiting professionals. Must be in office 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday). Core Competencies Highly motivated and resilient, consistently achieving sales targets. Ability to quickly build rapport, primarily via phone. Comfortable with moderate travel, twice per year for training. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Salesforce. Understanding of broker/dealers, advisory, finance, or sales principals. Pay Range $25.24-$42.07 per hour. The pay range includes base salary and potential sales incentive compensation based on the incentive plan. Base salary is determined by skill, experience, education, peer comparison, performance, and location. Incentive compensation depends on meeting goals set in the incentive plan.
