Creative Director

Responsibilities

• Take approved ad scripts (received via Loom from copywriters) and convert them into detailed, line-by-line creative direction documents for editors
• Define visual storytelling, shot selection, B-roll, pacing, transitions, on-screen text, hooks, and editing style for each scene
• Select and direct talent, avatars, UGC creators, and visual concepts to maximize conversion
• Ensure ads follow direct-response best practices
• Work closely with video editors, copywriters, and media buyers to iterate on winning creatives based on performance data
• Research competitors and top-performing Meta ads
• Maintain creative consistency while testing new hooks, angles, and formats
• Coordinate AI B-roll and AI avatar integration into ad creatives
• Collaborate with Denzel (senior visual direction) during onboarding

Requirements

• Background in video editing, progressing toward creative strategy
• Experience with heavy DR/VSL brands (e.g., Gundry MD, Dr. Marty, Gordon Ramsay Hippo-style brands)
• Familiarity with storyboarding and visual production workflows
• Some involvement in creative strategy (angle development, research, audience understanding)
• Ideal candidate is a senior video editor or junior creative strategist looking to move toward a creative lead path
• High IQ, sharp, and a fast learner
• Proactive and able to operate independently
• Creatively engaged and ideas-driven — not purely executional
• LATAM strongly preferred, EST -adjacent timezone ideal
