Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift - 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive care for childbearing women and newborns, focusing on antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. This position is in an extreme high-risk Level 3 perinatal center where 70% of patients are complex high-risk cases. You will be part of a team at a facility providing approximately 150 births per month, with a 24/7 outpatient service when the clinic is closed.

• Provide 1:1 patient care for laboring women during their delivery process.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, and postpartum care.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for patient documentation and assessment.
• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required.
• AWHONN Intermediate and EFM Certification preferred.
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics and familiarity with the OBIX system is preferred.
• Must have the ability to circulate during C-sections and care for complex cases.
