Job Details Location: Albany, GA 31701 Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Schedule: Every other weekend Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Start Date: 08/31/2026 Duration: 24 weeks Setting: Acute care Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) unit Charting System: MEDITECH Openings: 4 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required At least 1 prior travel assignment preferred/required 2 years of experience in Med/Surg nursing required BLS certification required NIHSS certification required ACLS preferred Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment Ability to manage a 1:6 patient ratio on days and nights Must be comfortable with strict attendance expectations Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients Care for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, diabetes, amputations, wound care needs, and more Administer and monitor medications and treatments as ordered Support patient recovery, safety, and satisfaction through attentive bedside care Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the care team in a busy acute care setting Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately Maintain accurate and timely documentation in MEDITECH Float to related acute care areas as needed within scope and competency Apply now to join this Med/Surg RN travel assignment in Albany, GA and advance your career with a rewarding acute care nursing opportunity.
