Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, facilitating an innovative and flexible environment that supports the unique needs of our special education population while allowing for effective coordination with schools and families. You will primarily work from home but may occasionally visit schools as needed. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts and weekend hours required for crisis interventions or special events. On-call availability may also be necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students with diverse special needs, collecting comprehensive data to inform treatment.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing emotional well-being and facilitating effective integration into the school community.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address specific challenges such as ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions designed to aid students in developing emotional regulation skills and coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to optimize holistic care.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, maintaining composure and strategy under high-stress conditions.
\n
• Educate students and their families about mental health issues and available resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.

• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuous staff development activities to enhance professional expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on students enrolled in special education programs who present with a range of mental health concerns. These students may experience challenges such as ASD, emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, and ADHD. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Possession of a current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Arizona.

• Understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care principles.

• Proficiency in evaluating mental health conditions, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration.
\n
• Capability to handle crisis situations and provide support calmly and effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health or educational setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient use of computer technology.

• Experience conducting both individual and group therapy sessions with a variety of therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
