• Salary: $231,000 - $268,000 per year

Position Summary

This Senior Manager position oversees inpatient pharmacy operations with responsibility for facilitating strategic initiatives across all inpatient pharmacy practice settings. The role involves partnering with national, regional, and local pharmacy leadership to maintain and improve operational performance across the enterprise. The position ensures alignment of multiple teams on quality pharmaceutical care and services while maintaining regulatory and corporate compliance.

Primary Functions

• Facilitate conversations with Acute Care Leaders to implement pharmacy strategic priorities and goals across inpatient settings
• Partner with national, regional, and local pharmacy leadership to provide direction and oversight of inpatient operational performance
• Ensure multiple teams align on quality of pharmaceutical care and regulatory compliance
• Develop and implement processes to assure quality of pharmaceutical care and regulatory compliance
• Establish relationships with senior pharmacy leadership, Acute Care, and Infusion to evaluate deployment of quality measurement tools
• Provide consultative feedback to drug use management leadership on appropriate pharmaceutical use and care management initiatives
• Oversee development of acute care pharmacy supervisory personnel
• Establish relationships with medical center leaders and staff to provide pharmaceutical consultative advice and oversight
• Provide strategic implementation oversight during staff meetings, clinical practice meetings, and huddles
• Approve revisions and updates to compounding master formulas and formulary dispensing records
• Leverage data on drug availability and supply to influence enterprise-wide strategic inventory management
• Create developmental opportunities and build collaborative, cross-functional relationships
• Hire, train, and develop talent for growth opportunities and succession planning
