Paralegal Commercial Real Estate

A growing law firm in the Gwinnett County area is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support its busy real estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with commercial closing experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment with strong mentorship and support. The ideal candidate will have experience handling commercial real estate transactions from pre-closing through closing and be comfortable managing multiple files while ensuring accuracy throughout the process. Responsibilities Coordinate commercial real estate transactions from pre-closing through closing Order title work and review title commitments Track earnest money deposits and maintain accurate file records Assist attorneys with preparing and organizing closing documents Distribute closing packages and transaction documents to all parties Calculate and understand title premiums, transfer taxes, mortgage payoffs, and lien payoffs Facilitate wire transfers and assist with disbursement of funds Record closing documents and maintain familiarity with GSCCCA e-recording procedures Provide title commitments and related documents to the post-closing team in a timely manner Utilize firm software and systems to manage transaction files and workflow Qualifications Prior commercial real estate closing experience strongly preferred Residential real estate closing experience will also be considered Experience with Landtech is highly preferred Familiarity with Open Matters Strong understanding of settlement statements, title work, and closing procedures Knowledge of wire transfers, recording requirements, and disbursement processes Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 per year
