Immigration Paralegal

Role Overview This role is designed for a high-performing case manager with experience across employment-based visas, family-based petitions, and consular processing. The Case Manager will have full ownership of assigned cases, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high standard of client service from intake through completion. Key Responsibilities Manage a broad range of immigration matters, including employment-based (PERM, I-140, NIW, I-485), family-based (I-130, K-1, AOS), and consular processing (NVC, DS-260/DS-160, I-864) cases from initiation through completion. Prepare, organize, and review comprehensive filing packages, including petitions, applications, supporting documentation, and strategic cover letters for attorney review. Coordinate with clients, employers, HR teams, and beneficiaries to gather required information, ensure timely document collection, and maintain case progress. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear guidance on eligibility, process expectations, and documentation requirements with professionalism and responsiveness. Monitor case progress, including tracking priority dates, visa bulletin movement, and government processing timelines to ensure timely filings and avoid delays. Manage consular processing cases through the National Visa Center (NVC) and embassy stages, including document collection, affidavit of support preparation, and interview readiness. Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) regulations and filing requirements. Prepare for and respond to government correspondence, including RFEs, NOIDs, and other agency notices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records using case management systems such as Clio, ensuring proper documentation, workflow tracking, and organization. Perform quality control reviews on all filings prior to attorney submission to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance team productivity and client experience.
