Your Role: Paralegal – General Liability and Trucking Litigation As a Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting attorneys with case preparation, trial strategy, and litigation management. Your responsibilities include: Legal Research & Writing: Drafting motions, pleadings, discovery responses, interrogatories, and legal correspondence under attorney direction. Subpoena & Case Management: Preparing and tracking subpoenas and discovery requests, ensuring all records and materials are organized and available. Trial & Mediation Support: Assisting in trial preparation, preparing exhibits, assembling PowerPoint presentations, and coordinating with witnesses and experts. Attorney & Client Coordination: Managing case files, client communications, and attorney schedules while keeping all deadlines and trial calendars updated. Discovery & E‑Filing: Handling Georgia State and Federal Court e‑filing and ensuring compliance with procedural deadlines. What You Bring To thrive in this role, you should have: Experience 4+ years of paralegal experience in insurance defense litigation, with a strong background in trucking litigation and general liability defense. Experience in discovery, trial preparation, and litigation support. Legal Knowledge & Technical Skills Georgia State and Federal Court filing experience (E‑Filing required). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to assemble PowerPoint presentations for mediation and trial (preferred). Communication & Organizational Skills Superior attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel. Education & Certification High School Diploma or equivalent required.
