Excelcare at Egg Harbor is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Director of Human Resources to oversee HR operations and payroll administration for our skilled nursing facility. This leadership role supports our mission of delivering compassionate, resident-centered care by building strong teams and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Compensation: $68000.00 - $70000.00 per year

Location: 6818 Delilah Rd, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234

Responsibilities of the Director of Human Resources:

• Manage all HR functions including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance
• Oversee payroll processing, timekeeping systems, and wage reporting
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
• Support staff development, engagement, and recognition programs
• Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure confidentiality
• Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR and payroll matters
• Collaborate with department heads to support staffing and retention goals

Director of Human Resources Qualifications:

• Experience in HR and payroll, preferably in healthcare or long-term care
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Familiarity with HRIS and timekeeping systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Kronos)
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on employee support
