Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to engage in physical activities, promote healthy lifestyles, and develop motor skills through a variety of sports and fitness programs. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Teach students the fundamentals of various sports and physical activities while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and inclusion among students.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, such as sports teams or fitness clubs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in physical education classes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid CA teaching certification or licensure in Physical Education.
- University experience is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students of varying abilities.
- Knowledge of current trends in physical education and fitness practices.
