Business Development Manager
$105k - $135kHunter Douglas seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth for our custom window treatments and architectural products in the manufacturing space. In this role, you'll build and expand relationships with dealers, designers, and commercial partners, identifying new opportunities for smart-home and energy-efficient shading solutions. You'll lead regional go-to-market strategies, manage a sales pipeline, and collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams. Ideal candidates bring strong B2B sales experience, consultative selling skills, and passion for innovative, design-forward products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional business development plans to grow Hunter Douglas' presence in the manufacturing and window treatments market
- Identify, qualify, and close new dealer, distributor, and commercial accounts while expanding relationships with existing partners
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to target high-potential segments and inform go-to-market strategies
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to align customer needs with custom manufacturing and smart-home solutions
- Deliver consultative presentations and product demonstrations to dealers, designers, and commercial clients
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts within established guidelines to achieve profitable growth
- Manage a robust opportunity pipeline in CRM, providing accurate forecasts and performance reporting
- Represent Hunter Douglas at industry events, trade shows, and customer visits to promote products and gather feedback
- Monitor customer satisfaction and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure exceptional service
- Use data and feedback from the field to recommend new programs, promotions, and process improvements that support revenue growth
