Caladwich Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist Supervisor to support Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution warehouse operations at a DLA Distribution Center. The Warehouse Specialist Supervisor provides frontline operational leadership by directing warehouse personnel engaged in receiving, storage, inventory, issue, and shipment activities while ensuring compliance with DLA operational procedures, quality standards, and contract requirements. This position offers the opportunity to directly support military readiness by supervising mission-critical distribution operations that ensure accurate, timely, and efficient movement of supplies throughout the Department of Defense logistics network.

Core responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and material movement. Lead warehouse personnel by assigning work, establishing priorities, and managing workflow to meet production goals. Monitor operational performance, resource utilization, and compliance with contract requirements and DLA Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure inventory accuracy, quality standards, workplace safety, and proper use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Coordinate with Government personnel and project leadership to resolve operational issues and maintain mission readiness. Operational Support Oversee warehouse operations supporting receiving, warehousing, inventory management, issue processing, packaging, and shipping. Monitor workload, staffing, and equipment to meet production schedules and changing mission requirements. Ensure compliance with quality control procedures, audit readiness, and internal controls. Support employee training, process improvements, and customer service initiatives. Assist during contingency operations, workload surges, and special projects as required. Requirements Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred. Minimum three (3) years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations using SAP-WMS or an equivalent automated Warehouse Management System within the past five (5) years. Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment. Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling equipment, and distribution processes. Experience planning work assignments, allocating resources, and meeting production goals. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting DLA Distribution or Department of Defense logistics operations. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent continuous improvement certification. OSHA safety training and experience leading warehouse safety initiatives. Experience supporting performance-based federal service contracts.
