Seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse with strong cardiovascular critical-care expertise, including POD 0 open-heart patients, IABP, and Impella management. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience.

Job Summary
Seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse with strong cardiovascular critical-care expertise, including POD 0 open-heart patients, IABP, and Impella management. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience.
Key Duties
- Provide critical care to complex cardiovascular and post-operative cardiac patients.
- Care for POD 0 open-heart surgery patients.
- Manage patients requiring IABP and Impella support.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and provide expert analysis of patient conditions.
- Monitor and manage hemodynamics, arrhythmias, and cardiovascular status.
- Administer medications and interventions according to critical-care protocols.
- Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
- Communicate, coordinate, and delegate effectively within a high-stakes, fast-paced CVICU environment.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada - Required
- 2 years of CVICU experience - Required
- POD 0 Open Hearts experience - Required
- IABP experience - Required
- Impella experience - Required
- NIHSS - Required
- BLS - Required
- ACLS - Required
