We strive to have a remarkable impact on people's lives across several key therapeutic areas including immunology, oncology and neuroscience - and products and services in our Allergan Aesthetics portfolio.We currently have the following night work shifts:A2 - Sunday to Tuesday 5:30 pm to 6 am and every other SaturdayB2 - Wednesday to Friday 5:30 pm to 6 am and every other SaturdayThe primary job functions of the Mechanical Equipment Technician are to act as the equipment maintenance technician for the completion of scheduled and demand preventive/predictive equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of process and facility equipment, and to deliver 24 hour / 7 days a week maintenance support to the facility. The Mechanical Equipment Technician will also provide technical support in the design, installation, and qualification of new or modified process or facility equipment.Responsibilities:Performs or arranges for preventive and demand maintenance on a wide variety of equipment, including structural, HVAC, plumbing, and process equipment.Supports reliability-centered maintenance program(s) at the site by performing or coordinating completion of predictive maintenance activities such as equipment vibration analysis, oil/lubricant analysis, ultrasonic thickness or other non-destructive testing, infrared heat mapping, etc.Conducts and documents activities in a manner that maintains facility compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP), process safety management (PSM), and other applicable regulations.Provides maintenance expertise in support of manufacturing investigations, failure and root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action planning and execution.Provides maintenance expertise in support of plant engineering initiatives and project execution.Strictly follows all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) procedures and supports efforts to improve facility EHS performance.Attends all required training and complies with the responsibilities associated with the maintenance technician position as detailed in the applicable Standard Operating Procedures.Conducts maintenance-related training sessions as required.Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:4+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility maintenance, with experience in maintenance of chemical process equipment desirable.Associates degree in skilled trades curriculum desirable.Combination of education and experience.Problem solving, troubleshooting, and repair skills for a wide variety of systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic, reactors, control valves, pumps, etc.Welding, pipefitting, construction, basic electrical knowledge, and machining skills.Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with Maintenance Department objectives with minimal supervision.Ability to work effectively with operators, engineers, contractors, and vendor representatives.Must be able to respond to emergency maintenance requests on off-shiftsThe compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
