Accountant

Global agriculture organization seeking an onsite entry-level accountant to process journal entries and reconciliations, and provide support during month-end close. No work experience required, some practical experience preferred. Accounting or Finance degree required. RECENT COLLEGE GRADS WITH ACCOUNTING DEGREE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY ! This is an onsite position in Watsonville/Santa Cruz County, requiring 4 days in office. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations Prepare journal entries, maintain ledgers, reconcile and analyze specific general, intercompany and other subsidiary account ledgers Assist with monthly financial reporting analysis for assigned subsidiaries Assist with year-end audit and footnotes preparation REQUIRED SKILLS Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred; Finance degree acceptable if multiple accounting classes taken 0-3 years of finance or accounting experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and basic accounting terminology and concepts Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to protect the confidentiality of sensitive data Ability to stay on schedule and meet deadl #J-18808-Ljbffr
