Production Worker - 2nd shift

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a production worker for second shift manufacturing operations in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. The role involves operating equipment, performing quality inspections, maintaining compliance with GMP and ISO 9001 standards, and supporting production targets in a regulated cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment according to SOPs, work instructions, and safety guidelines
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor equipment performance and escalate issues impacting operations to supervision
- Complete accurate documentation and maintain material traceability per ISO 9001 requirements
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and support troubleshooting activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year manufacturing, operations, or lab production experience
- Basic math skills including formulas, decimals, and fractions
- Ability to lift 40 lbs without assistance
- ISO 9001 environment experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and independent work capability (preferred)
