Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services individually, or in group settings, tailored to address the needs of clients and their families.

• Conduct thorough client assessments by interviewing to gather social, personal, environmental, and health-related information for effective treatment planning.

• Identify and evaluate behavioral and emotional issues, ensuring that all services provided align with the professional scope of practice.

• Design and develop personalized programs and interventions aimed at promoting social and emotional well-being, collaborating closely with clients to achieve their goals.

• Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral health interventions and crisis management, connecting clients with necessary community resources.

• Foster a therapeutic relationship grounded in mutual respect and trust, helping clients feel safe and understood during their treatment journey.

• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and modify approaches based on client progress and feedback.

• Utilize appropriate assessment tools and resources as needed, ensuring that the best methodologies are employed to gauge client needs.

• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes, adhering to established legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals in detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders, as well as those dealing with a range of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and relationship issues. You will be instrumental in shaping their treatment experience, promoting healing through tailored interventions and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker status in New Jersey is mandatory.

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in clinical social work or a related field preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
