Source One is a consulting services company and we’re currently looking for the following individuals to work as on-site consultants to our direct client, an autonomous vehicle company in Las Vegas, NV.

Title: TeleOperations Specialist (Technical Support)

Pay Rate: $25/hr (W-2) plus benefits (listed below)

Duration: One year-plus (ongoing)

Schedule: 40 hours/week - various shifts available

​Shift Options:

Training Schedules (first 8 weeks): candidates can choose between the AM or PM training shift

AM: Mon - Fri 9:30am - 6:00pm

PM: Mon - Fri 5:30pm - 2:00am

Official Schedule (after training):

Candidates MUST be available from 1:30am - 2:00am

NOTE: Candidates MUST be flexible to work between the hours above. Specific shifts will be assigned two weeks before the end of the 8-week training period.

After the training period they will be assigned a first initial shift assignment which will be one of the following: 1:30am - 10:00am, 10:00am - 6:30pm, 12:00pm - 8:30pm, or 5:30pm - 2:00am

Job description: Our client, an innovative, on-demand autonomous ride-hailing company is hiring TeleOperations Operators to support its growing fleet of autonomous vehicles. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of self-driving technology by monitoring vehicles, providing remote assistance when needed, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of the TeleOperations system.

As a TeleOperations Operator, you will be the “human-in-the-loop,” bridging the gap between autonomous driving systems and real-world scenarios that require intervention. This position is perfect for candidates with a strong technical aptitude, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee a fleet of autonomous vehicles in real-time, providing remote guidance when necessary to ensure safe operation.

- Take control of vehicles in complex scenarios, following strict safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

- Assist in gathering performance metrics and reporting observations to improve system functionality.

- Work cross-functionally to provide feedback on TeleOps tools, usability, and overall system performance to enhance the operator interface.

- Follow company protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain high operational standards.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in operations, technical support, software testing, or a similar field

- Comfortable working with Windows and Linux operating systems; basic understanding of QA testing principles

- Excellent driving history and no criminal history

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Willingness to work flexible shift hours

Bonus Qualifications:

- Experience with QA testing or working in the autonomous vehicle industry

- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, analytics, or related field

- Basic understanding of data analysis to help build out and analyze metrics

- Strong familiarity with video game-style controls or simulation software
